On October 7th, the last day of the National Day holiday, the return passenger flow of Xiaoke Group, Xiaogandong Railway Station and Xiaogan Railway Station increased. According to statistics, more than 150,000 passengers were sent by Xiaogan’s railways and highways from October 1st to 7th.
According to the statistics of Xiaoke Group, the total number of passengers transported during the National Day holiday is about 45,000 person-times; and the total number of shifts is about 2870. No passenger retention and accidents occurred during the holiday. On the eve of the holiday, due to the holiday of many colleges and universities in Xiaogan, the passenger flow was crowded. The peak of passenger flow appeared in the direction of Xiangyang, Yichang, Huangshi, Huangpi, Anlu and Dawu. The long queues appeared in the ticket hall. The Group conducted diversion and guidance in time, and guided young passengers to purchase tickets online via mobile phone on the spot, relieving the pressure of ticket window effectively. During the National Day holiday, there were peaks of passenger flow in the direction of Xiangyang, Huangshi, Huangpi, Yichang and Shiyan. Xiaoke Group evacuated the passengers by arranging the overtime of sightseeing bus. There was no passenger retention. In addition, Xiaoke Group strengthened the security check, checked the inflammable, explosive and dangerous goods strictly to keep the dangerous goods outside the station and vehicles.
From October 1st to 7th, a total of 79,713 passengers were sent by Xiaogandong Railway Station, with peak of passenger flow between 7am and 10am and between 1pm and 4pm. In order to prevent passenger retention, the Station opened more ticket windows, strengthened the guidance for passengers, and prepared the identity card verification to maximize the protection of passengers’ on time travel.
During the National Day holiday, a total of 30,044 passengers were sent by the Xiaogan Railway Station, with more passengers going to Beijing, Guangzhou and Wuhan. The measures such as the addition of staff, the provision of enter and exit guidance service, and the help for key passengers were implemented in the Station to ensure that the station is well-ordered and no passengers are stranded during the holiday.
