Poverty Alleviation Project through Elaborate Han Embroidery Themed with “Moms to Go Back Home” Wins Silver Award of Chinese Public Benefit and Charity Competition in 2018

Recently, good news came from the Women’s Federation in Dawu County that the Poverty Alleviation Project through Elaborate Han Embroidery Themed with “Moms to Go Back Home” guided by Women’s Federation of Dawu County and planned by Women Volunteers Association of Dawu County has won Silver Award of Chinese Public Benefit and Charity Competition in 2018.

 

Poverty Alleviation Project through Elaborate Han Embroidery Themed with “Moms Go Back Home” aims to encourage poor and migrant women workers to go back home to get jobs and start businesses, thus inheriting intangible cultural heritage, achieving targeted poverty alleviation, making left-behind children no longer stay at home and boosting “moms to go back home”.

 

It is learned that “Chinese Public Benefit and Charity Competition in 2018” which was officially started on July 5 has involved 634 declaration items from 31 provinces, cities and autonomous regions throughout the country. After nearly 3 months’ fierce competition including finalist competition, promotion event, training camp of social innovation seeds”, finally gold, silver and bronze awards were produced.
